Set up your RV or tent and make use of our many amenities. Each site is kept private with the many trees and has its own picnic table and fire pit.
Keep children entertained at the Children’s Play Area.
Take a look in our small gift shop and purchase your vacation souvenirs.
Use your individual site picnic tables or make use of the day picnic and BBQ area overlooking the North Thompson River.
Use the General Store (Walking Distance) for everything you would need.
Your dogs are welcome but please ensure they are on a leash, keep barking to a minimum and pick up after them.
If you plan a local day trip then your dog may be welcome to stay at our drop in doggy day care. |

Welcome to Birch Island, British Columbia. Nestled among the trees and Mountains of the Wells Gray corridor. Just minutes from the shops and restaurants of Clearwater. Enjoy the many activities in and around Clearwater. In the summer - white water rafting, horse riding, fishing, hiking, Swimming, canoeing, cycling and much more. In the winter - skiing, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, dog sledding, Ice Fishing or just playing in the snow.
Take a drive into Wells Gray Provincial Park (15minutes) and savour the magnificent Helmcken Falls. Or get a birds eye view of the Park with a local helicopter tour.
Alternatively just relax and take in the peace and tranquility of Birch Island. Sit back and breath in the fresh Mountain air, watch the sun set over the North Thompson River, watch the Stars twinkle in the clear night sky.
